"I have fluffy, frizzed-out dry hair that I often straighten, so I tried out the Wondercap heated wheat-bag-for-your-hair and felt slightly silly at first - but found it DID work!
I was told by the Boy my hair was "super-soft" (I suspect he's been watching infomercials) and was actually complimented on how good my hair looked by a friends wife who NEVER gives compliments.
The invention of entrepreneurial Wellington woman Gail McJorrow, Wondercap is a terry-towelling cap housing a microweavable bag which one heats and places on freshly washed hair in order for the conditioner to work more effectively. The Wondercap comes in two colours, black or white and has a removable cover so it can be washed. Zap it in the microwave for a couple of minutes and put it over your wet, conditioned hair, leaving your conditioner in so the heat really activates it.
You can use the cap with your regular conditioner or with a conditioning treatment. So many people have been asking Gail for a treatment to use, that due to popular demand she's released FERAL, a conditioning treatment to leave on and use in conjunction with the Wondercap. It smells divine and is totally organic. It looks like chocolate mousse but better yet, it's not fattening, it just makes your hair full-bodied!"

"We've had the Wonderbra, the wonderbar (a chocolate bar that apparently eases pre-menstrual tension) and now there's the Wondercap
It works on the same theory as the wheatbag, though it's filled with lupin seeds - heat it in the microwave and use it to ease headache pain. But it can also be used in place of hot towels or plastic wrap during DIY hair-conditioning treatments; the heat helps open up the hair cuticles to absorb the conditioner. And, if you twist sections of your hair up and under a warmed cap ...voila, natural curls.
After a couple of minutes of wearing it, the sensation was a little like having a hottie on your head. Though not hugely glamorous, anyone who's had a bad hair day will feel instantly purged once their soft, shiny locks are revealed. And it's quick; 10 minutes is sufficient, though, if you're anything like me, you may want to repeat the heating process again and again...

"I tried my cap last night with almond oil on my hair. I washed it out in the morning as usual and applied Feral treatment and put warm Wondercap on again for 5 minutes then rinsed it off. It's amazing!
Just one use made a lot of difference in my hair. My hair is naturally medium wavy and extremely frizzy especially after washing. I have tried many expensive brands but nothing could ever work.

"I have always had very thick, dry, curly and porous hair. Over the years I have tried many products (some of them very expensive) nothing really made a huge difference to my hair's condition.
In early 2007 I discovered Wondercap's Hair Conditioning treatment. The product is thick and smells divine so I diluted it 50/50 with water and applied it to my hair after shampooing (I leave it in until the next shampoo), and I have experienced wonderful results. "I was introduced to Wondercap by my Aunt. I have naturally, curly, shoulder length hair, and it has been dry all my life, with a tendency towards frizzy.
Throughout my 20's I spent a fortune on hair conditioning treatments at the salon, which didn't really seem to do a whole lot. The thing I like about Wondercap the most is that is GUARANTEES me great hair if I want to go out, which for me had been very much luck of the draw.
It is also far more effective than the very expensive in-salon treatments and conditioners that I had been using. The Wondercap is not a product that you use once and forget about.
I find that I use it regularly, at least once if not twice a week - even for 5 minutes makes a huge difference to my hair, and I've been using it now for about a year.

"I was reading the Thread homepage for NZ Fashion when I came across the ad on Wonderful Hair, I immediately visited the link to the Wondercap website and ordered me a white cap on the Saturday evening of the 20th June.
